Players promote GW revival?
Hey guys.
I was just reading the F2P (free to play) threads on here and had in idea. In the words of my mate Baldrick, "I have a cunning plan". Ok, not so much a plan as an opinion. lol.
I don't think we'll get F2P GW any time soon, if ever (and personally, I don't thinks that's a bad thing at all). My opinion about it is that anet's not going to spend any money on it unless it's making money. That, unfortunately, is a vicious circle that means that it's not likely to ever make a comeback. But... I reckon it could be possible to bring about a player lead revival. Basically, plug the crap out of it. Contact/spam (or w/e) as many gaming sites, forums and mags as possible and promote the arse off it. Point out everything that's good and unique about it and everything we know and love about this beautiful game.
I'm not really making a suggestion but more just throwing an idea out there. Ofc, if everyone thought it was a good idea then I'd love to help make it happen but all I'm doing now is sharing an idea/opinion.

I myself like the idea, I purchased a copy of the game for my girlfriend.
Bought a costume not really for looks as many parts of the game are dead lol.
and I'm also making a YouTube series starting from Guild Wars Prophecies, not really trying to become famous or anything mainly for the memories
Because I too feel like Guild Wars may be coming to an end.
If you want to check out the first episode feel free :3

I really hope GW makes a comeback even if it's a minor one :P

Could just discuss it with friends, family, and on websites you're already one. You know...without spam or annoyance.

Leave Guild Wars alone!!
Haha seriously though, I've been playing since day 1. I've made so many friends and memory's on this game that it's hard to think sometimes that it is only just a game. However it's too far gone. Arenanet decided to do #2 and abandon there once magnificent creation. There's no point getting people to play an MMO that isn't going to receive active updates, has very few active players, and doesn't receive much support. It's like asking someone to eat a week old burger because you had the other one a week ago and it was lovely haha.
